The Cobalt Tower

 

As you reach the gate, a well armed guard blocks your way. "Welcome, stranger! We've been watching you for some time, and our mages assured the Lord that you are no enemy, so he allowes you to enter. Maybe you will find the wisdom you seek..." By this, he steps aside, and you enter the basement of the tower.

You are standing in a large central room, a courtyard from which doors and gates seem to lead into other rooms, and stairs descend up to other levels of the tower. Which door will you choose?
